Social and Recreational Activities

It is impossible to overstate the value of social and recreational activities for seniors, but inactivity can have a negative impact on their physical and mental health.
We take our time at Silver Seasons to involve residents in leisure and recreational activities that support the development of their interpersonal relationships with others and enhance their general health because a lack of interaction with others can also lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation.
We hold clients’ hands and help them take part in leisure activities that foster imagination and creativity, such as painting or drawing, knitting or crocheting, as well as memory and mental challenge games like chess, scrabble, monopoly, and jigsaw puzzles.
Other leisure pursuits, such as dancing, aerobics, and brisk walks, keep them physically active, strengthen their muscles, and enhance their posture.
